Flowers are a Language that Speaks Volumes!

Flowers are a Silent Language

Imagine a flower speaking a message to someone you love. What do flowers
say at a funeral? What do they say on Valentine’s Day? What do flowers
say at a hotel where fresh flowers are place daily in your room and floating
freshly on your private pool maybe on a honeymoon? What do flowers say
at a wedding?

Flowers are a Silent, Yet Powerful language.

Try writing what you would say with a flower and see how much easier
it is to say with flowers.

If a picture speaks a thousand words, flowers are the “picture.”

Flowers Represent Emotional Messages

Over the centuries specific flowers have come to represent specific emotional
messages. Roses are a perfect example. We are so steeped in the meaning
of red roses, a red rose almost always says “I love you.”
while a pink rose means “perfect happiness” or “please
believe me.” You might wish to choose a rose that means “love
at first site.” If so, choose a thornless rose.

Bi-Lingual Flowers

When looking for roses to give, there is a large assortment which to
choose. Rosebuds mean beauty and youth, innocent of love. Red rosebuds
represent “pure and lovely” and moss colored rosebuds mean
“confessions of love.”

Roses can be given for less favorable emotional messages. For example,
a yellow rose shows a “decrease of love or jealousy.”

Other Fun Flower Examples

A white lily says “virginity, purity and majesty. It’s heavenly
to be with you.” Magnolia represents “nobility.”

Say it with flowers. Don’t wait for a special occasion. Say it
often.
